My name is Edit Horváth. I’m a certified alternative bodywork and shiatsu practitioner, holistic lifestyle consultant and plant-based cook.

In 2009, the year before I finished the Dharma Gate Buddhist College in Budapest as a Buddhist teacher with Japanese specialization, I realized that sharing the great wisdom of Buddha through words must be in harmony with my practice.

At that time, I discovered the healing power of touch, and I started my journey in the world of Japanese shiatsu therapy with Wataru Ohashi Sensei in Vienna. I’m very grateful that I had a chance to learn the way of staying in a meditative state while I’m giving a treatment – in trust for the benefit of all.

This is how I fused Buddhism and my commitment to Japanese culture and holistic healing.

Being in balance is challenging, but we need to make efforts and strive tirelessly every single day. Because if we change for good, the environment around us changes too.

Throughout the years of learning and practicing I became interested in raising the energy and vibes to the point where positive body image, thinking and feelings are leading to conscious self-love, compassion and self-healing.
