William Redpath, energy healer, trauma therapist and author of ‘Trauma-energetics©’ and ‘Trauma for beginners’, has developed a method based on non-intentionality and following the natural trauma release process using colour, energetic impressions and energetic space-holding.

In his books, William often references myth, Greek classical theatre and English literature. This depth and context in human culture and psyche shows how trauma is a universal human experience. Solving traumatic patterning and breaking through the circles we can find ourselves in is a central theme in the lives of individuals, families and entire cultures.

The process of trauma release follows a unique flow for each individual, but is at the same time universal and in it’s core energetic. Your own energy system (in William’s words ‘Brain’, with a capital B) knows exactly what is needed to disentangle emotional and mental knots and solve energetic blockages. Therapists can learn how to facilitate this process.

Trauma Energetics© can be used for:

• trauma without ‘pictures’ or clear memories
• pre-verbal / pre-natal / peri-natal trauma
• difficulties treating trauma because of dissociation
• difficulties treating trauma with bodywork
• clients with very small windows of tolerance / difficulties with exposure modalities
• situations where using too much language is undesirable or hard because of a disability or language barrier (it is not completely non-verbal though)

You can learn a lot from a book, but guiding a fellow human with a trauma needs training. With this masterclass William and the Academy for Energy Medicine would like to offer space for this. Part of the day will be a number of demonstration sessions by William with volunteers. He encourages energy therapists to use the method in their practices, integrate it, further develop it and share their results with each other.

William writes:

I am assuming you will have some, even considerable background in trauma resolution strategies. I shall begin with some background and then proceed to an example session, with questions and answers. Depending upon the interest of the participants, we shall have more discussion, another session, or group experience of doing sessions with each other. I shall try to respond to your special interests and concerns, describing my approaches as I can. While we all may have background understandings based on our experience and study, this workshop will be conversational and experiential in nature.

Reading William’s books before the class is not mandatory but you can order them in the webshop if you like.

Admission requirements

Experience as an energy practitioner or with energy healing in an informal context is advised (not mandatory), although no specific school or method is preferred over another. If you know nothing about energy medicine at all, taking the online course Het menselijk energieveld or the three day intensive Drie dagen duiken in de energetische geneeskunde (where the online course is included) is recommended.

Date and location

Due to an accident, William couldn’t make January 3rd. We have selected May 16th and 17th as an alternative. You are welcome to join one or both of these afternoons (13:00 – 17:00).

The location for the Masterclass is our main location in Utrecht, Wallesteinlaan 45A.

Sessions

William will be available for private sessions in the Netherlands the week after the masterclass at €150,- per hour. You usually need two hours for a full session.

Serious psychological conditions require the attention of your physician. Complementary medicine is an addition, never a replacement of your regular health care. This class, or any session with an energy therapist is not a replacement for a visit to your general practitioner or specialist.
